Terms and Conditions

Dog Groomer Jobs · Last updated: 27 March 2026

These Terms and Conditions are the full legal terms for the Platform. For a shorter overview of acceptable use and general rules, see our Terms of Use.

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Dog Groomer Jobs platform, accessible at doggroomerjobs.com (the "Platform"), operated by Pet Jobs Group Limited ("we", "us", "our").

By registering, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-platform notice. Continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Who We Are

Dog Groomer Jobs is a job-matching platform built specifically for the dog grooming industry. We connect dog grooming professionals ("Groomers" or "Candidates") with salon owners and grooming businesses ("Employers" or "Salon Owners").

We are not a recruitment agency. We do not act as an agent or representative for either party. The Platform is provided for information purposes only. We do not guarantee the outcome of any application, hiring decision, working arrangement, or use of the matching service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to register on the Platform. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or over and that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for keeping your account details up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we believe information is inaccurate or misleading.

4. Account Registration and Security

To access the Platform's features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately at support@petjobsgroup.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.

We will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to keep your credentials secure.

5. Candidate Accounts (Groomers)

5.1 Free Registration

Creating a Candidate profile, uploading qualifications, and applying for roles is free of charge.

5.2 Profile Accuracy

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the information in your profile including qualifications, experience, certifications, and availability is accurate and not misleading. Providing false or exaggerated information may result in immediate account termination.

5.3 Matching

Our matching algorithm will automatically suggest roles based on the criteria in your profile (location, salary expectations, experience level, working arrangement preferences, etc.). We do not guarantee that you will receive matches or that any match will result in employment.

5.4 Active and Passive Status

You may set your profile to "active" (actively seeking roles) or "open to opportunities" (passively discoverable). You are responsible for keeping this status current.

5.5 Applications

When you apply for a role, your profile information will be shared with the relevant Employer. You consent to this sharing when you submit an application. We are not responsible for how Employers use information you submit as part of an application.

6. Employer Accounts (Salon Owners)

6.1 Business Profile

Before publishing a job listing, Employers must complete a full business profile, including company details, registered address, and hiring contact information. We reserve the right to verify this information and to reject or remove listings that appear fraudulent or misleading.

6.2 Job Listings

Employers may create job listing drafts free of charge. A listing fee (as set out in clause 7) is charged when a listing is published. Once published, listings are reviewed before going live and, upon approval, remain active for six (6) weeks from the date of publication.

6.3 Accuracy of Listings

Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their job listings, including role descriptions, salary ranges, required qualifications, and working arrangements. Listings must comply with applicable UK employment law, including the Equality Act 2010. Discriminatory listings will be removed without refund.

6.4 Candidate Data

Candidate information shared with you through the Platform may only be used for the purposes of evaluating that candidate for the specific role advertised. You must not use candidate data for any other purpose, share it with third parties, or retain it longer than necessary, in accordance with UK GDPR.

7. Fees and Payment

7.1 Listing Fees

All listing fees are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing UK rate. Fees are charged per role at the rates displayed on the Pricing page at the time of publication. Current standard and early-access rates are:

Early-access pricing is available for a limited time and may change at our discretion. We will always display the applicable fee clearly before you are directed to checkout.

7.2 When Payment is Taken

You are only charged when you choose to publish a listing and complete payment. You will see a final price summary before being directed to our payment processor. Saving a draft is free and does not incur any charge.

7.3 Payment Processing

All card payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By completing payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

7.4 Refund Policy

All listing fees are non-refundable once payment has been completed. By proceeding to payment and publishing a listing, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Publishing a listing does not guarantee that any candidate matches will be generated.
  • We do not offer refunds in the event that no matches are found for your listing.
  • We do not offer refunds where matches are found but you choose not to act on the guidance provided, or where you choose not to amend your requirements to improve your match results.
  • The listing fee is payment for access to the Platform and the matching service for the duration of your listing period — it is not payment for a guaranteed outcome.

Refunds will only be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • We are unable to publish your listing for reasons entirely attributable to us.
  • A duplicate charge has been made in error.

Any refund request must be made in writing to support@petjobsgroup.com within 14 days of the charge.

8. The Matching Service

8.1 Information Purposes Only

The matching service is provided for information purposes only. It is designed to surface potential connections between Employers and Candidates based on the criteria entered into the Platform. It does not constitute professional recruitment advice, and we make no warranty as to the suitability of any match for any particular purpose.

8.2 No Guarantee of Matches or Outcomes

We do not guarantee:

  • That any listing will generate candidate matches.
  • A minimum or specific number of matches.
  • That any match will result in a hire, placement, or ongoing working relationship.
  • The accuracy, completeness, or honesty of any Candidate's profile or Employer listing.
  • That a Candidate will accept, remain in, or perform satisfactorily in any role.

8.3 Matching Guidance

Where no matches are found, we may provide guidance on adjustments to your criteria (such as expanding travel radius or revising salary range) that could improve your results. This guidance is indicative only. We do not guarantee that following such guidance will produce matches. If you choose not to act on this guidance, no refund will be issued.

8.4 Re-listing Offer

As a goodwill gesture, where an Employer has published a listing, a matched Candidate is placed, and the working relationship does not continue within the first four (4) weeks, we may re-list the same role once, free of charge, at our discretion, subject to the following conditions:

  • The Employer must have marked the Candidate as hired within the Platform prior to the working relationship ending. Re-listing requests will not be considered where the hired status was not recorded in the Platform.
  • The Employer contacts us within 14 days of the Candidate's last day.
  • The original listing was published in good faith and with accurate information.
  • The reason for the arrangement ending was not attributable to factors misrepresented by the Employer.

This offer is a goodwill gesture only and does not form part of any contractual guarantee. It applies once per original paid listing and only where the Candidate was sourced via a Dog Groomer Jobs match.

9. Platform Use and Acceptable Conduct

By using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any other user.
  • Post roles or profiles that are not genuine.
  • Attempt to circumvent the Platform by directly approaching matched contacts outside the Platform in order to avoid paying applicable fees.
  • Use any automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access Platform data.
  • Upload any content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or infringes any third-party rights.
  • Use the Platform for any purpose other than legitimate job seeking or recruitment within the dog grooming industry.

We reserve the right to remove any content, suspend, or permanently ban any account that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Platform community.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including the matching algorithm, design, text, graphics, and branding is owned by or licensed to Dog Groomer Jobs and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of the content you upload to your profile or listings. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content to operate and improve the Platform.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

In summary:

  • We collect and use data to operate the matching service and facilitate applications.
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • Candidates' profile data is shared with Employers only when a Candidate applies for or matches with a specific role.

Please read our full Privacy Policy for details on your rights and how to exercise them.

12. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payment processing). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the conduct or reliability of any third-party service.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Platform and all content and services within it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, for information purposes only.
  • We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components.
  • We are not liable for any employment decisions made by Employers, including hiring, rejection, or termination of any Candidate.
  • We are not liable for any inaccuracies in Candidate profiles or Employer listings.
  • We are not liable for any loss arising from a failure to generate matches, or from your decision not to act on matching guidance provided by the Platform.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Platform shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss, including loss of earnings or business opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dog Groomer Jobs, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform in breach of these Terms.
  • Any content you submit to the Platform that infringes any third-party right.
  • Any employment dispute arising between an Employer and a Candidate.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms or if we decide to discontinue the Platform.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account does not entitle you to any refund of paid listing fees.

Clauses relating to intellectual property, liability, indemnity, and governing law will survive termination.

16. Changes to the Platform

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of significant changes. We are not liable to you for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first at support@petjobsgroup.com and we will do our best to resolve it informally before any formal proceedings are initiated.
